Plastic World

Plastic pollution is an enduring topic that knows no boundaries of time or location. This photo series centers around plastic pollution, with the subject being a plastic bag. Despite its small size, a plastic bag can cause significant harm to the environment, with approximately 8 million pieces of plastic pollution entering our oceans every day. Around 100,000 marine mammals, sea turtles, and one million seabirds die yearly due to marine plastic pollution. This photograph evokes a chilling atmosphere using a simple plastic bag. The folds and density within the plastic bag create a suffocating and breathless sensation, reminding us of the grave impact of plastic pollution.
